I'm looking to Kickstarter a decent antenna in this regard.

I'm really amazed that the Chinese fall all over themselves making cheaper and cheaper GPS modules, but none seem to make a cheap timing antenna. Even copying one of the ring antennas from research in the public domain shouldn't be that hard. Maybe even some plastic stamped one with a galvanic coating.
