Thanks a lot, and to everyone for all the discussion. To answer some questions, my goal is to have the unit mounted to an ATV (small offroad vehicle, also called a 4-wheeler or Quad) so the antenna would be perhaps 3 feet off the ground. In normal circumstances I suppose I would probably drive about 5 mph so that's why I'm trying to get an idea about accuracy while moving. It is good to hear about trees being a problem -- that could be an issue for me. My goal is to map a piece of rural land which is mostly field, but there are some forested areas. This is a just a hobby project, I'm not trying to do this for commercial purposes, just for fun/learning. Thanks,
