Try the Cypher Labs CP60 it has U-Blox LEA 6 T and cost a third of the Ashtech 
I have used it extensively and it does RTK using RTKLIB

When you buy the Ashtech you have to pay extra for RTK etc.

I have tried this one just recently, seemed to do fairly good. But I
have not done any tests qualitative tests.
