I had written up an install documentation a long time back for dual-booting windows and fedora, see if that does some help. http://linuxweblog.com/dual-boot I had used Knoppix which comes with QTParted to partition the drive. You can graphically create, delete and resize partitions with QTParted. It functions like Partition Magic, except it's FREE!
