Hello all there in FOSS Nepal. I'm a student, currently studying in Prime college BIM fifth semester.
I've an Idea "JSP Extended", which is java version of "ASP.net", that would help, to run full blown, java application behind a web page. I've thought some thing that is very much like "ASP.net", i.e a server side frame work with web server controls such as textboxes, buttons, images, image buttons, etc. that would eventually get rendered into the HTML elements, or even java applets. A frame work having a ground up support for AJAX, with seamless integration for client -server Ajax framework. The Idea is simple, a browser(client) requests web server for a "jspx", page, lets suppose "abc.jspx", the code file for that jspx page, lets suppose "abc.jspx.java" , gets compiled and the code runs at the server, the final result is send to the client through the webserver The very main problem is I don't know how does the server side code gets invoked by a web server, and how does the code communicate with the web server? Can any one give me some advice? Can I expect any help from FOSS? or am I in wrong Place??? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ FOSS Nepal mailing list [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/foss-nepal Community website: http://www.fossnepal.org/ -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
