Ya definitely, we can't jump into this unless we have some good results in
the pilots. And I think our OLPC team has been onto this. They have been
working on localizing some of the activities and contents for OLPC. In fact
we already have a very active group working in management, curriculum,
development and deployment too.


1) OLPC team is doing its best to make this project a success. They do have

only question that rises in my mind is that should Nepalese or Pakistani
people / government pay for the experiment for Negroponte's concept? In my
opinion for these pitols ( at least) OLPC should bear all the necessary
fundings.

what is this $300 laptop for? can u share with us?

this is the idea which I think all FOssians in the whole  world would like
about OLPC

But the important most factor for us in Pakistan or Nepal is to calculate

Ya that is the concern  and should be a concern for every  nationals of
countries like ours.
