irc.freenode.org, port 6666/6667, (IRC), for example Join Channel #fedora, #RESPECTIVE_SUBJECT normally there are tons of irc channels where many users are active at a single instant. but chances are that noone will be online. But hope it works for you.
To join a channel like fedora just type /join #fedora To join iptables type /join #iptables and so on..
