Although I don't have much idea about the making of one (though I have
read the resources available at http://www.freedomtoaster.org/), I am
very enthusiastic about Freedom Toasters and I do agree with
nepbabu.cx that it is a must do for every fossians.

I read some concerns regarding the touchscreen in the discussion.
Well, we could manage without one, but if touchscreen is required, we
have some Nepalese people who have learned and gained some experience
in building and implementing touchscreen based devices in India (like
a network switch, a new device in India, and others). They are my
friends and I will consult with them before writing more, if you
people feel the need.

We have a Linux Users' Group in our college. In this year's goals for
the group, we have thought of installing a freedom toaster for people
outside the university so that the Users' Group could help spread the
cause of freedom even outside the university. It would be great if we
could collaborate. After all, the success would mean another
meaningful step towards freedom.
It would also mean the first ever freedom toasters in asia being
located in Nepal and India with Nepalese Fossians being involved in
both of them !

Would love to hear from you all.
