I just quickly read the paper titled "Open Source Software & Free Software" (http://foss-nepal.googlegroups.com/web/oss.odp :) Having said that, there are some mistakes - "file and cannot modify it in any way. Open source programs are ongoing projects; unlike the software company coming out with a final product release. In..." Sure I can see the authors saying the correct thing :) mostly but commercial softwares also have lifespan :) It's not just - release and finish but I can surely feel that authors are very enthusiastic about open source. Bottomline. its a good paper with some typos (re: Linus Torvalds and not Linus Trovalds ;) given that maybe the students are probably a freshman. > I am need of information about the places either in government or > non government sectors working in Open Source Softwares in Nepal. Also, MPP folks can provide you with pointers. -- Cheers, nepbabu.cx --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ FOSS Nepal mailing list [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/foss-nepal Community website: http://www.fossnepal.org/ -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
