Makefile, gcc/g++, Vim. Those suit my need but sometimes I use Eclipse with CDT 
as well.

I don't think there's anything better than Eclipse if you are looking for the 
whole shebang. You could give Anjuta a try like Jwalanta said but I'd bet my 
time & money on (Eclipse) or (Makefile, gcc/g++ and Vim).

Netbeans? Whoah! Is Sun moving to C++ now or what? Like Jwalanta said, try all 
and use what you like. There's no 'one size fits all' solution. :)
