Yes,
You can use wubi : http://wubi-installer.org/ to exactly do that.

install and uninstall Ubuntu as any other application."

Guys, Brothers, Sissies and seniors,

I want to install ubantu on my XP machine, still I don't want to remove my
Genuine Windows XP MC. Is there any way to install Ubantu without
uninstalling or damaging the existing windows installation and windows NTFS
Filesystems??
