assuming that ur internet comes at eth0 and u share it via eth1, the steps
looks pretty okay to me. what ip have u assigned to the windows computer??
or is it through dhcp??

if the shell way gets confusing to u, u can also use Firestarter (
http://www.fs-security.com/). it's also available in the repos of ubuntu and
internet connection sharing is a piece of cake using this software..
