As far as I could gather information from wiki, we first discussed for
various themes, some got attention, other rejected, at last we settled
down with proposed theme.

anyway kudos to community for coming with such a nice phrases,

Seriously I think Prabin's suggestion is at top rank with creation--

SFD 08 theme : Knowledge and Freedom
SFD 08 tag line: creation-->collaboration-->contribution (of course as
prabin say all ini"c"als inverted to tribute copyleft.
