Dear all,
We are running too late for organizing SFD. This pace won't
get us to the best event awards. Moreover I'm skeptical about whether we
could reach to SFD and whether we can even meet the success metrics of
the previous one (this celebration was expected to be a huge blast of
success). Some of the problems that I've identified for this slow pace
are as follows:

   1. Absence of communication within and across teams.
   2. Wiki not being updated, no visibility into status updates
   3. Event coordination team is not coming up with a clear chain of
commands to guide other teams and events. I even don't see a wiki
      page for even coordination team!
   4. Volunteer Coordination Team: same as event coordination team
   5. Material Team: Need to be formed soon, and tasks to be executed ASAP
   6. Especially, there is absence of leadership and as whole, lack of
interest (at least I think so)

Therefore I would like to request each team coordinators to communicate
with their team members, define tasks, sort which tasks/milestones have
been achieved, and what is left to do, prepare plans, and update their
wiki pages (Documentation team: please be at help). Moreover, the event
coordination and volunteer coordination team must come to immediate
action, otherwise it's really going to be too late.

I'm really worried about this event, and this is how I see the problem,
and the probable solution. I hope I have not offended anyone here.

Thanks.

Regards,
Abhishek Singh
