It's clear that canonical has very less contibution over kernel patches. This never means kernel.org or Greg, canonical should focus under kernel development only. Canonical has it's own policy and it's own way they track with linux.org . Imagine, linux has never grown like this until canonical believed in ubuntu. so it's again clear that, more user in linux, more kernel patches. it's not direct in relation but looking in loop clears that canonical has some sort of good contribution to kernel. Even a company can't be so dedicated to kernel only. you can say that redhat has very less bugs tracing in their forum rather than ubuntu forum. As i know the debian communitiy as well as KDE never likes canonical. But i think canonical is good in it's own way.
