I think that was a request/suggestion rather than assignment of responsibility. It is great if you guys are ok with it. In my humble opinion, we shouldn't wait for meetings or approvals for such details. If a team has been delegated with a task, the team should have the autonomy and freedom to work and decide on their own. Of course, the team must have been entrusted with some faith on them. And if something they do isn't to others' liking, we always have our community feedback and suggestion method to modify them when required.
