Few months back Mero Mobile provided 8 KB per session of GPRS/EDGE data
transfer free of cost. I think it was before they introduced the Ramro
Tarrif. You could have written a J2ME program to pull 8 KB, disconnect and
then reconnect to pull 8 KB and repeate the process. But because, now, it
costs money for every bit of data you transfer using GRPS/EDGE, no free "as
in free beer" anymore.

Also, it would be better if your queries are more or less related to Open
Source. This is FOSS-Nepal mailing list, you know that.
