Guys, I got this message from a volunteer of Nepal Wireless Project(NWP). There was a discussion going on in Nepal Wireless mailing list about some maintenance problem they are having in the school.
Earlier in the thread Philip wrote: "I was not informed of this, but some Nepali organization put up a LTSP server project in the Nangi school sometime last year. The problem (of course) is that they are having difficulty maintaining it." The new system has far too little storage and so they are going to re-install again on a bigger drive. Last I checked, the server had stopped serving DHCP to the clients and when I checked, the path to the PXE boot images was incorrect. I know Kishan is going to reinstall sometime soon. I love the LTSP and what the FOSS Nepal/e-library folks are doing...We as NWP just need to make sure that when we put in new systems, they fit into the network scheme. As you know, the NWP network is a little different than a regular LTSP install because of our subnetting and not using NAT everywhere. Thanks.
