Government considering about legalizing software in Nepal is a good sign.
This way people will now have to choose between weather they want to spend
thousands of rupees in softwares, can they afford to have the legal copies
of Microsoft softwares, Or would they consider about the other choices they
have, i.e  migrating to open source.

While considering the proposal of Microsoft, I hope the government have
realized that they will have to spend billions of rupees to
have proprietary softwares in all the computers at government offices. I
hope the government will consider switching to open source instead,
after realizing all the cost it will have to bear.

The more people migrating to the open source means, the open source
community will grow bigger. The the bigger size means there are more people
to meliorate the open source softwares. So personally, I consider this to be
a benefit to the FOSSians.
