i think RHEL5 already contains nepali Unicode.

Just in the taskbar >right click and  then select "add". then find keyboard
indicator from the list.

now you will have USA in the taskbar. rightclick on it and go to preference
and there click on add button and from the country list select Nepal. you
will then have romanize nepali keyboard layout.

to use: you can change the shortcut key combination from the same window.

Try once. I think it works.
