Dear Kumar ji,

Nice to read the document about the fonts and keylayouts standards.

I felt that still there is confusion about the fonts, scripts and IM(input
method).

So please consider a proper keylayout for the IM to use the
script(Devanagari - ISO 10646) and a good typeface font to display the input
character.

I hope this things are better known to the FOSSians. Can someone elaborate
on the process?

Best of luck in the process of Standardization of Nepali Keylayout and
Fonts. and not to use old fonts preeti, kantipur PCS and others(typeface
changed fonts for english script with ASCII code)
Hope the authorities are not considering to standardizing the script as well
to include three nepali alphabet (क्ष,त्र and ज्ञ).

Best Regards,
Pawan
