Sagar ji, you must have included edubuntu cd as a possible source in ur repositary. Hence, it is asking for that
You can correct this by editing /etc/apt/sources.list: * Comment the line containing *deb cdrom ......* [don't remember the actual text], save the file. Run: *sudo apt-get update *And then u can install the package. For the purpose of safety, u can create a backup file for sources.list Regards, Jitendra 2009/12/5 connectask (सागर क्षेत्री) <[email protected]> > I was tending to install the scribus on my laptop msi p4 dual core > inside. > > it asks for edubuntu 8.10 cd which i don't have. > > I do have 14kbps continuous speed internet, any one would mind to help > me to install the scribus from the internet resources which don't asks > for the edubuntu 8.10 cd while installation. > > -- > FOSS Nepal mailing list: [email protected] > http://groups.google.com/group/foss-nepal > To unsubscribe, e-mail: > [email protected]<foss-nepal%[email protected]> > > Mailing List Guidelines: > http://wiki.fossnepal.org/index.php?title=Mailing_List_Guidelines > Community website: http://www.fossnepal.org/ -- FOSS Nepal mailing list: [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/foss-nepal To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] Mailing List Guidelines: http://wiki.fossnepal.org/index.php?title=Mailing_List_Guidelines Community website: http://www.fossnepal.org/
