Oh man.. its been ages since I last used dial-up using Redhat7.
Basically at that time I used ppp dialer.
These days people get away equally well with wvdial or so I've read.
For wvdial config, search the foss nepal list, you'll find very many
posts; Googling 'dial-up linux ubuntu' would also help.

If these formats are proprietary (e.g. - MP3), you'll have to download
and install codec for it. Searching Ubuntu wiki will help you on that
bit. Easiest guide is this (all click and install) -
