The fact that Java applications (or adobe air or .NET or whatever) run
on multi-platform does not necessarily encourage you to use
properitrary software for its development or the environment.
If you use Windows for development of Java Applications, you may well
want to try out J# or use some vendor-locked libraries. Then you are
trapped once again.
So, i still think the best is "STAY AWAY".
Well, if you have already been trapped, better try to get out.. the
sooner the better... However, if you are a starter, do not start there.
