Guys,
Congrats!!! Open Source has finally found a place in the Nepali
Government's courseware thanks to your tireless efforts.
In this new syllabus released for class 11 that will be valid from this
upcoming batch onwards, HSEB has included a topic for Open Source.
One can download the syllabus from
http://www.hseb.edu.np/content/curriculum.php -> Computer Science.
The topic is included as section 6.4 named Open Sources Operating System
and includes :
6.4.1 Introduction to Open Sources Operating System
6.4.2 Introduction to Linux, UNIX
Not that it is for a big deal of marks (the entire topic 6 is of 10
marks theory and 3 marks practicals.), but I guess this is a good start.
