that didnt work out. It showed the error as: fsck from until-linux-ng 2.17.2 fsck: fsck.ntfs:not found fsck : error2 while executing fsck.ntfs for /dev/sda3
anyway the problem got solved when I edited the /dos /window line in etc/fstab .
