Dear Grishma G, Which version of ubuntu are you using. And just saying cd40 won't help.. Stating sub version or you manufacturer of wireless device may help... The problem basically is old kernel or mayb you hardware isn't support by linux systems yet because the vendor haven't released any driver and people are working to write one... If you are using older version of ubuntu like 8.04, 8.10, 9.04 then i would suggest you to get the latest ubuntu Maverick alpha will also do but you may face problem with unstability. I personally will suggest Lucid ie. 10.04
