i'm running Ubuntu 10.04...and i've not been able to see the network manager applet on the panel since i installed ubuntu...though the option in the Startup Applications has been ticked, no applet can be observed...i found one thread here http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/ubuntu-help/165651-solved-ubuntu-10-04-network-manager-applet-icon.html
but the user has re-installed the ubuntu...bt i'm nt willing to do the same thing...and my problem is conversant with the user's there...and yes, he's inferring third-party software for the cause...so how can my problem be solved?? and everytime I contact my ISP (i.e. of course wlink) if there comes problem in my connection, I should make them aware about the lack of error-display (since they ask for the error number)...please help me with this too... -- FOSS Nepal mailing list: [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/foss-nepal To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] Mailing List Guidelines: http://wiki.fossnepal.org/index.php?title=Mailing_List_Guidelines Community website: http://www.fossnepal.org/
