Actually I was thinking of making a Customized CD so as to include
package like VLC and Geany. As the number one problem that I face
(and many other friend) when migrating to Ubuntu from Windows is the
Multimedia support and our computer's are offline so downloading all
the dependencies from another Ubuntu Machine is simply too hard and
just give up.

I had just discussed it with Hempal Shrestha as he was with us this
afternoon and he was suggesting the name SATA(sorry if i am rude but
he referred him with the same name) to refer to. He just mention there
was a project already on the way I was too interested to join if I
can.

I also had some research on it and came across the official link of
LiveCDCustomization https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCDCustomization
and going through that and Installing the pre-requisities

What really could be the most essential software package that could be
included and what to be removed from the 10.04.
Some of my list.
To be included......
VLC for all multimedia purpose and all other such tools to be removed.
Geany as the direct alternative to program like Dev C++
Wine
and if you think any please share.(it all will be on a single CD so we
have many thing to compromise)

I am thinking of distributing the CD on this SFD as a part of the
public awareness program in Gandaki College of Engineering.

I am waiting for the response.
