FYI : One of the download link for the ocr in Madanpuraskar.org had a corrupt msi file, a mirror is available at: http://code.google.com/p/nepaliocr/downloads/detail?name=NepaliOCR.msi
Umm yes the sanskrit ocr is interesting. See the help file from the Help menu in Sanskrit OCR, then after you get a roman output , you paste the roman output of the sanskrit ocr in the Devanagari/Hindi/Nepali Unicode converter<http://technical-hindi.googlegroups.com/web/SanskritOCR-Roman-text-to-Unicode+converter05.htm?gda=576wwmUAAAAoiecIUhwFv064Wxa887DGc_q2XwWX1oml3hDZ7YMVtk0L6Lh1I-HxpROV4pZgjsqlntrZeNsciXYcf3sSt_jwuoUnAUmZQTOZ8hDeIraPPhBhkC2838bh1XMpL-hKswsa7WIsd6qHDhllGPdGMn_4&hl=hi> to get the output in Unicode.
