Dear Fossians, As you may all be aware that the new major version of Drupal i.e. Drupal 7 will be released on January 5th, 2010. Drupal is one of the largest open source Content management Systems. Drupal 7 is gonna be a major game changer. The release is being celebrated all over the world by organizing release parties. In the same spirit we would like to organize a Drupal 7 release party. The Date for the party will be Jan 7th, 2010.
If you would like to help out or would like to contribute in organizing this party Please reply to this thread. We will need publicity to ensure maximum participation, So spread the word on twitter and facebook and tell your friends about it. It will be a great opportunity for all drupal lovers to meet and share ideas and experiences and also for new beginners to get insight into Drupal and be familiar with the community.
