Hey guys!

I have seen threads similar to this but I thought creating a new thread
would be better idea, so here I am.

I am again having problem with localhost. As always I guess this is also the
permission issue. I am facing "500 Internal Server Error" while browsing
http://localhost/ or a folder that is stored in /var/www/. Though the
folders that were created sometime before (before updating I guess) are
still working fine. The newer folders are showing such errors. Also, even
visiting http://localhost/phpmyadmin is working fine. Just to try, I tried
the command, "sudo chmod 775 /var/www" but that solved my problem a little
bit, I am now able to create new folders in the www folder but the 500 error
has not be solved.

How do I solve this? Any detailed links or some instructions?
