Dear all, One of the ministries got in touch with some of us from FOSS Nepal Community regarding a time-bound pilot project that they are planning to conduct from January 2012. The project is related to local customization and development of FLOSS SOLA software. In this regard, they are wanting to work with the local FOSS community in future, and are also looking for some programmers with the following requirements:
--- The following are the required skills the developers should have: The two “mandatory” requirements are: · Java knowledge and experience (JSE) · Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) 5+ Technologies (Java Persistence API (JPA), EJB 3+, Hibernate, Webservices (JAX-WS), JMS etc.) “Highly Desirable” requirements are: · working knowledge of Structure Query Language (SQL), · Java Swing, · Postgres, Glassfish or similar JEE application servers (e.g. Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, WebShpere), · GIS related software development experience Desirable: · working knowledge of Maven · integration technologies -- If anyone is interested, please send your CV to the above email address ASAP.
