Last time, FOSS Nepal had de-centralized the celebration. Because of
that NOSK had organized their own program, which was a good first
attempt. We had a lot of visitors because FOSS Nepal was not
organizing anything.
And we got good result from SFI as well.
But, what are we planning this time? Please let us know whether it
will be a centralized event, or de-centralized event like last time.
After knowing that, we can proceed with the program.

Dear all,
As it was a decentralized efforts in our last SFD, may be this time,
we can continue the momentum and spread out our own program to new
colleges, new schools and new cities and to new dates as well as
necessary. However, there will also be some brief symbolic central
celebration as well, please do suggest, how we can make this
celebration more happening, joyfull and fruitful. This year also, lets
us all join our efforts to document all the celebration taking places
at different places in ONE place to showcase the beauty and diversity
of FOSS in Nepal.
At present, I can hear from some of our FOSSians about the celebration
shaping up in Pokhara, Chitwan and some places in Kathmandu. Also, I
am planning to explore more celebrations being planned at the " IT
Convention on Open Source Software in Nepal" going to be held on
August 26 (Friday) at 1:00 PM at Budhanilkanta school with students
from various higher sec colleges/schools in Kathmandu. Please do share
if some of you could be able to accompany us in the program.
