NOSK had a meeting of a core team this morning. We'll have the updates in the wiki soon.
To sum up the meeting, the NOSK-SFD2011 event will be celebrated in two phases. 1. *First Phase*: Three or more mobile teams will be formed to visit the colleges and deliver the FOSS- SFD info and awareness. For this we'd like to coordinate with all the FOSS-TEAM in different colleges to assist us for providing the time and space for couple hours. This would be the small awareness and the publicity campaign for the SFD on 17th Sept. A candle light vigil at the 16th Sept Evening. 2. *Second Phase: *This is the one full day event at the NCIT college premise. Like it was celebrated last year we have the list of events to be celebrated this day. We are preparing for the following events. More are still on the phase of planning. a) GB Satasat b) Linux Rescue Shell c) Distro Demos d) OpenCD e) Developers Ubuntu [shiva] f) Happy Boot g) NOSK SFD-11 T-shirt h) Happy Club i) Bingo, QUIZ [SMS] j) Open Art k) Food Fest l) Workshop [Talkshows] m) NOSKials->Games and Party n) 3D/HD movies The teams formed for the SFD events are: a) Management: > Anish , Sunil Joshi, Manish b) PR [+ media]: > Ragendra + Krishna c) Treasury: > Anish, Rocky d) Event Management : > e) Artwork [RAAZ] + Developers [dipesh]: [Ads, T-shirts, banners, ] f) Treasury-> Anish, Binayak, Manjul g) Documentation + Photography : Paras, Rocky_Upadhaya The designing of the flyers, tshirts, flexs and other artworks are on the progress. For now, we need help from different colleges to make mobile team for the awareness. We'd be glad if anyone is interested in supporting the event by any means. If we can discuss better in person, we'd be glad to organize a meeting at NCIT premise itself. How is Tuesday evening a good time for meeting? We look forward to hearing. Best Regards.
