Hi there! Lately, I've installed Ubuntu 11.04 on my laptop and gave a CD to a colleague of mine for installation. He too installed Ubuntu 11.04 on his desktop at home. The system were working fine until all of a sudden, Ubuntu denied to log into Unity desktop. This happened to both systems (my laptop and my friend's desktop). All we can see is a blank desktop with wallpaper only in normal boot; no panels, no docks, nothing. We can only use the system when logged into the recovery mode. What could have gone wrong? And, how can we rectify this problem? Any help, please!
