Hi, If by snapshot you mean mutliple email message drafts saved on your inbox while you were composing an email. I don't use thunderbird but I do use mail app and I have seen similar behaviors with it, i.e, it auto saves the messages as I type it and the mails, they endup labelled as trash on gmail.
