Hi, You don't need Anti-virus ( most of the time) for Linux ... although I have ClamAV installed but its just eating up system resources... @ Internet world : Just make sure you configure proper Firewall, run only required services, don't open unnecessary ports & use system as non-root / Norman user ( you can "su / sudo" anytime to do superuser jobs)..
If you are running Wine as "root" then Virus will execute ( But just inside wine environment) PLUS any ".exe" or most of windows virus will not gonna run inside Linux ... so no panic Just delete those windows ".exe" viruses manually when you see them under Window Manager ...
