This team will be working during the pre-sfd preparation to customize and
collect iso images of linux distros along with compiling Nirvikalpa version
4.0. The details follows below:
1. Nirvikalpa:
Nirvikalpa is a digital optical disc that is compiled with free and
open source softwares for windows machines.
2. Distros:
Distros refers to the various linux falvours that will be available in
DVDs at minimal cost. In DVD's we will have the following distros:
- Developer's ubuntu [ Customized version of ubuntu 12.04 LTS, still
under customization ] DVD Version
- Open Suse Life [ Not yet collected ]
- Cent-OS-6.3 32bit DVD Version
- Fedora-17 32 bit DVD Version
- Linux Mint-13-Cinnamon-32bit-rc DVD Version
The list of applications included in Developer's ubuntu are as follows:
IDE
1. Eclipse
2. Aptana Studio
3. fbedit
Internet and Browsers
1. Firefox
2. Chromium
3. filezilla
(still updating)
Requirements:
1. DVDS
2. Internet Connection [ for customization and iso image and application for
nirvikalpa downloads]
Besides this other distros, will be provided to TB Satasat team and Freedom
Toaster Team. For example we have:
- kubuntu-12.04 32 bit DVD version
- BT5R2-KDE-32 bit DVD Version
