Well the supports for graphics is quite poor in all linux and currently nvidia is supported by open source nouveau and binary nvidia driver provided by vendor itself. First of all view which card you have and explore if it is in supports of these drivers or not. This ppa https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates provides latest nvidia driver and you could try this ppa as well. If your computer supports optimus technology you can try http://bumblebee-project.org/ although I think this is quite experimental.
For printers, look for your hardware linux drivers. As far as phones are concerned, do you mean your sd card doesnot mount ? Which phone do you have ? I recommend you explore AskUbuntu <http://askubuntu.com> and see if your problem is already present or you may ask there as well. -- FOSS Nepal mailing list: [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/foss-nepal To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] Mailing List Guidelines: http://wiki.fossnepal.org/index.php?title=Mailing_List_Guidelines Community website: http://www.fossnepal.org/
