Hi All, Past weeks have really been great for FOSS Nepal Community. The graph of interest has risen exponentially and still rising. We all are happy and proud with it.
But there is one term I would like to introduce the college communities to. It is a term called "Handshake", "Two-Way Handshake" to be more precise. I have seen practice of college/local communities to fix the date themselves and drop an email to us. That really is a bad practice. You should make sure about our availablity too. We may not say to you directly, but, yes it is difficult for us to manage the time as per you *fixed time*. So, from now onwards we would be more than happy if the communities ask for our time & availablity too so that the "Two-Way Handshake" I mentioned earlier is successful and no-one gets dissappointed. Also, from what I know, events are not actually called like that. Fixed a date today, event is on the next day. That practice sucks too. It would be a lot better if we get pre-notified at least 1 week earlier. I have posted my views, if anyone is not satisfied with it, you are most welcomed to comment on it.
