Thanks for bringing this into table. But while proposing idea you should take care enough to be in context of the discussion and ongoing planning. We've to be picky on the topics if we want to participate in SFD as GDG. There are topics like Chromium browsers and Chromium OS if we want to demo. Or build Android from scratch and run it on Low End Device. We can have topics like Angular.js covered but talking about YouTube API would hurt SFD objective.
