This workshop's sole objective is make the attendees familiarize with the Linux environment and some what its internal mechanism. We the organizers itself are very beginners, eager to learn.
During this entire workshop we will be customizing appearance of a Linux distro. Actually we will be removing programs we don't need from the distro and may have some of our favorites programs into it to. If possible we will have some demo on how to apply a patch to it. These things are very basic but believe me a step taken is like half a journey completed. There is no any hard and fast requirement to attend this workshop but it would be easy for you if you learn few Linux commands. There are many books available online. You may grab any of them. And we have a minimal fee to attend the workshop..its around 500 Nrs including wonderful lunch..we would donate the remaining sum to the FOSS Nepal.
