one of the biggest game company valve, announced their upcoming linux steamos <http://store.steampowered.com/livingroom/SteamOS/>. meantime amd is working on project mantle<http://www.tomshardware.com/news/amd-mantle-api-gcn-battlefield-4,24418.html>which is alternative for directx 11. i think it is big news for us. :D
