Fully agreeing with Avash, Keshav sir also have been informed about Rajan and other Fossians at the BH college However they had been following up for a week for other FOSSians also to come support the orientation program. Last minute finalization over phone call was my bad, otherwise they might have taken it as not-interested kind of thing. In the discussion I have also communicated similar views of having the senior students of BH who had been part of FOSS to be in the orientation session and take the lead in interaction and orientation. However it is also important to ensure that we have someone other FOSSians as well who can be present as supporting speaker. Recently I have observing that various college management are now approaching us for orientation and other activities which is a good sign realizing the importance of FOSS in their curriculum itself.
So a mix of FOSSians from the same college and others together can ensure a good delivery of critical awareness about FOSS to those who are becoming interested to learn and participate. So, Rajan, Sabin and who else have been participating in FOSS activities please do take the lead not only in today's orientation but also in other programs in other colleges as well. My also 00.000025 Paisa hai ;) Thanks Avash for your positive criticism and please do continue sharing your opinion. This is the strength of our community.
