Dear Volunteers, We volunteers here at Kavre District are exercising to initiate *FOSS COMMUNITY KAVRE*. The basic idea is that FOSS KAVRE will be an extension of FOSS NEPAL and will be spreading FOSS MOVEMENT in this district. Right now we've some volunteers representing different colleges and high schools of Kavre district. We thought of taking this opportunity to promote open source campaign here in this district.
So as we will be running our campaign under the direction of FOSS NEPAL, I wanted to have following about FOSS NEPAL: 1. How is FOSS NEPAL Registered as to Government of Nepal? 2. Can we work under the shelter of FOSS NEPAL? " *The name FOSS KAVRE is just for representing the district, all we want is continue the FOSS Campaign being a region specific. Now we are about to go to some colleges and ask them for providing us a space for organizing workshop in a long term manner. So definitely we will need some legal identity of whom we are representing*." 3. In that case we need some suggestion about how should we be oriented and how do we move forward? *Some more information about the community:* After we find a space we will be sharing the resources and technical assistance from KUOSC, KUCC and FOSS NEPAL.
