What does it mean to receive a mail from foss-reject to [email protected]?

Since EZMLM powers the mailing list, please see
http://cr.yp.to/ezmlm.html

Given email based interface, every email received has two encoded email addresses,

[email protected]
[email protected]

Replying to the mail amounts to 'foss-accept'.

Alternatively, one can send a mail to one of the email address(es) to 'accept' or 'reject' the email.

Benefits

* email system can transparently integrate with SpamAssassin or SpamDyke

* potential email post can be reviewed and acted upon without using the desktop environment or troubling the browser

* one can accept/reject the mail but not edit the contents of the mail.

* symmetric operations on a mailing list
         [email protected]
    [email protected]
  [email protected]
       [email protected]
       [email protected]
  ... many more commands

* one can even retrieve old posts by sending an email. However, for convenience of users, we have chosen to archive posts at

https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/

warm regards
Saifi.
