on ArchLinux to support flash inside the browser, the following packages must
be installed

extra/flashplugin 32.0.0.330-1 [installed]
   Adobe Flash Player NPAPI
extra/pepper-flash 32.0.0.330-1 [installed]
   Adobe Flash Player PPAPI

I am using opensuse tumbleweed operating system

Below are the steps I followed to install flash-player:
https://software.opensuse.org/package/flash-player

In the above link, I clicked on the tumbleweed -> Show community packages (I used the first one out of the three, https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home%3AX0F%3AHSF/flash-player)

-> Expert Download -> Add repo and install manually

NOTE: I had to do this, as flash-plugins or adobe plugins were not available via zypper search or via yast

also download a .mp3 and .mp4 on your laptop and try to play with Mplayer. does
that work ?

Mplayer is not package available for opensuse.

I searched for it, I could not find a relevant package.

If you have the link or can share a link, I will install mplayer.

thanks
