Hello all, I finally managed to get Arch installed in my VM. I ran into many blocks as the .vdi image was created as dynamic allocation and pacman or pacstrap did not install Linux for me. Once I had that figured my multiple iterations I was having issues with GRUB to show the boot page. I came past that hurdle too.
But now I'm stuck at network connectivity. I'm running ping but it is giving the error message:Temporary failure in name resolution So I booted again with the arch iso and mounted /dev/sda1 and chrooted and installed wireless_tools and iw packages. Once done I went back to the installed arch instance and tried to call iw but with no success. Can you help me with setting up the network. Also, I am having issues with the keyboard as well as the pipe key and foreward slash is mapped wrong. .ps please help :P Thanks guys. Suhail
