Hello Friends,
Here are the three steps you need to undertake to prepare for PostgreSQL PG13
BuildFest scheduled to be held tomorrow, May 23rd at 1630 hrs.
Step 0
please ensure that you have atleast 800 MB disk space free on the system you
wish to use to participate in the build fest.
Step 1
on your GNU/Linux system (Arch Linux, Gentoo, LFS recommended) install the
following packages.
git
automake
autoconf
make
gcc
flex
bison
perl
Step 2
make the directory and clone the repo
mkdir ${HOME}/strikr
cd ${HOME}/strikr
clone the PostgreSQL git repo by
git clone https://github.com/postgres/postgres.git
Note
* Please ensure that you have successfully completed these tasks. This will
help you be prepared better.
* In case you face any difficulty or issues, please comment at the PostgreSQL
meetup page or write to [email protected] for assistance.
* Newbies and folks who are new to PostgreSQL are very welcome and encouraged
